The cats shown are currently in temporary foster homes.
These cats are being assessed and evaluated so that we can help find them a home they will thrive in. Several of these cats have come from colonies and are very shy kitties (they are marked with an *). They are the most vulnerable and overlooked because they had limited human contact and are learning to trust humans, but it takes time. They need someone who will be very patient with them while they acclimate to their new environment. We consider ourselves the lucky ones to watch them blossom into trusting, loving kitties and the time that is devoted to them is so rewarding.
We are their voice and each individual foster is completely involved in the meet and greet, interview and adoption process for potential adopters. The foster has been with the cat 24/7 and has the most valuable feedback and information in order to help place each cat in a wonderful home.
Once a cat is available for adoption, their bio will be moved to the “adoptable cats” page. Meet and greets are mandatory and are cats will not be adopted on the day of a meet and greet. It is imperative that, not only is the cat a good match for the potential adopter, but that the potential adopter is a good match for the cat. Vet and personal references are also required.
